ऑस्ट्रेलिया और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के बीच खेला जा चुका तीसरा और अंतिम टेस्ट मुकाबला ड्रॉ में संपन्न हुआ। दोनों टीमों ने इस मुकाबले को जीतने की काफी कोशिश की लेकिन लगातार बारिश होने की वजह से इस खेल को काफी लंबे समय तक रोकना पड़ा।
बता दें, तीसरे और अंतिम टेस्ट मुकाबले में मेजबान ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी का फैसला किया। टीम ने अपनी पहली पारी को 4 विकेट पर 475 रन पर घोषित कर दिया। मेजबान की ओर से सलामी बल्लेबाज उस्मान ख्वाजा ने 368 गेंदों में 19 चौके और एक छक्के की मदद से 195* रन की शानदार पारी खेली।
उनके अलावा स्टीव स्मिथ ने 192 गेंदों में 11 चौके और 2 छक्कों की मदद से 104 रन बनाए। मार्नस लाबुशेन ने 151 गेंदों में 13 चौकों की मदद से 79 रन बनाए जबकि ट्रेविस हेड ने 70 रन का योगदान दिया।
एनरिक नॉर्खिया ने 2 विकेट झटके जबकि कगिसो रबाडा और मार्को जानसेन ने 1-1 विकेट हासिल किया।
तीसरा टेस्ट मुकाबला ड्राॅ में हुआ संपन्न
दक्षिण अफ्रीका की पहली पारी में टीम के बल्लेबाज कुछ अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं कर पाए और 255 रन पर ऑलआउट हो गए। केशव महाराज ने 81 गेंदों में 6 चौके और एक छक्के की मदद से 53 रन की पारी खेली। उनके अलावा साइमन हार्मर ने 165 गेंदों में 4 चौकों की मदद से 47 रन बनाए। खाया जोंडो ने 39 रन की महत्वपूर्ण पारी खेली।
ऑस्ट्रेलिया की ओर से जोश हेजलवुड ने 23 ओवर में 48 रन देकर 4 विकेट अपने नाम किए जबकि पैट कमिंस ने 3 विकेट झटके। नाथन लियोन ने 2 और ट्रेविस हेड ने 1 विकेट हासिल किया।
इसके बाद फॉलो ऑन में दक्षिण अफ्रीका ने 41.5 ओवर में 2 विकेट खोकर 106 रन बनाए। टीम की ओर से सरेल इरवे ने 42* रन की पारी खेली जबकि हेनरिक क्लासेन ने 35 रन का योगदान दिया। टेम्बा बवूमा ने 17 रन बनाए।
ऑस्ट्रेलिया की ओर से जोश हेजलवुड और पैट कमिंस ने एक-एक विकेट झटका। ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने इस तीन मुकाबलों की टेस्ट सीरीज को 2-0 से अपने नाम किया।
