वहीं वर्ल्ड कप 2023 में बीते शनिवार को भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच मुकाबला खेला गया था, जिसमें पाकिस्तान को करारी हार का सामना करना पड़ा। इस हार के बाद पाकिस्तान टीम के डायरेक्टर मिकी आर्थर बीसीसीआई पर भड़क गए और उन्होंने इसे आईसीसी नहीं, बल्कि बीसीसीआई का इवेंट बता दिया। इस पर क्रिकेट जगत में काफी बवाल मचा हुआ है।
