हिंदी सिनेमा जगत के दिग्गज अभिनेता दिलीप कुमार का 7 जुलाई की सुबह 98 वर्ष की आयु में उम्र संबंधी लंबी बीमारी के चलते निधन हो गया। दिलीप कुमार का काफी लंबे समय से इलाज चल रहा था, जिसके बाद उन्हें पिछले मंगलवार हिंदुजा अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। मुगले ए आजम और देवदास जैसी ऐतिहासिक फिल्मों में एक्टिंग करने वाले दिलीप कुमार को हिंदी सिनेमा जगत में ट्रेजडी किंग के नाम से पहचाना जाता था।
प्रधानमंत्री और राष्ट्रपति ने व्यक्त किया शोक
दिलीप कुमार के निधन की खबर मिलते ही देश के राष्ट्रपति ने लिखा कि दिलीप साहब हमेशा हम सभी के दिलों में जिंदा रहेंगे। वहीं प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी ट्विट के जरिए दिलीप कुमार को याद करते हुए लिखा कि उन्हें पूरी दुनिया के करोड़ो फैंस का प्यार मिला है। उनके जाने से हम सभी के लिए काफी बड़ी क्षति है।
बॉलीवुड में इस दुख की घड़ी में कई दिग्गज हस्तियों ने भी ट्वीट के माध्यम से दिलीप कुमार को याद किया, जिसमें अमिताभ बच्चन, माधुरी दीक्षित, अनिल कपूर और संजय दत्त शामिल हैं।
क्रिकेट से भी दिलीप कुमार का काफी लगाव रहा है और इसी कारण वहां भी उनके निधन से एक शोक की लहर देखने को मिल रही है। दिलीप कुमार के निधन पर भारतीय खिलाड़ियों के अलावा कई पाकिस्तान के पूर्व खिलाड़ियों ने भी दुख प्रकट किया जिसमें वर्तमान पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री भी शामिल हैं।
