आपको बता दें, भारत इस साल हॉकी वर्ल्ड कप 2023 का आयोजित कर रहा है, और यह वैश्विक टूर्नामेंट भुवनेश्वर और राउरकेला में 13 जनवरी से 29 जनवरी तक खेला जाएगा। भारत अपने हॉकी वर्ल्ड कप 2023 अभियान की शुरुआत स्पेन के खिलाफ राउरकेला में 13 जनवरी को शाम 7 बजे करेगा।
भारतीय हॉकी टीम के वर्ल्ड कप 2023 में पहले मुकाबले से पहले वर्तमान और पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटरों ने सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से मेजबान टीम के लिए शुभकामनाएं भेजी, क्योंकि इस बार उनका लक्ष्य घरेलू सरजमीं पर प्रतिष्ठित खिताब जीतना है।

भारत के महान बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर, NCA प्रमुख वीवीएस लक्ष्मण, स्टार बल्लेबाज विराट कोहली, सूर्यकुमार यादव, और श्रेयस अय्यर, भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम की स्टार बल्लेबाज जेमिमाह रोड्रिग्स और यस्तिका भाटिया, उप-कप्तान स्मृति मंधाना, भारतीय स्पिनर कुलदीप यादव, अनुभवी बल्लेबाज अजिंक्य रहाणे, नितीश राणा, पूर्व बल्लेबाज सुरेश रैना, स्टार ऑलराउंडर हार्दिक पांड्या, क्रुणाल पांड्या और पूर्व बल्लेबाज रॉबिन उथप्पा ने भारतीय हॉकी टीम के लिए ट्विटर पर सुभेक्षाएं भेजी हैं।
आपको बता दें, हरमनप्रीत सिंह के नेतृत्व में भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने टोक्यो ओलंपिक में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए कांस्य पदक जीता था और साथ ही राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों 2022 में रजत पदक भी जीता था। हालांकि, इस बार भारत का उद्देश्य 2018 वर्ल्ड कप के क्वार्टर फाइनल से बाहर होने के बाद 48 वर्षों बाद पहला वर्ल्ड कप जीतने का होगा।
हॉकी वर्ल्ड कप 2023 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया, अर्जेंटीना, फ्रांस, दक्षिण अफ्रीका, बेल्जियम, जर्मनी, दक्षिण कोरिया, जापान, नीदरलैंड, न्यूजीलैंड, मलेशिया, चिली, भारत, इंग्लैंड, स्पेन और वेल्स कुल 16 टीमें भाग ले रही है, और निश्चित ही मेजबान टीम की नजरें खिताब पर होगी।
