बेहतरीन सलामी बल्लेबाज शुभमन गिल इस मैच में बड़ा स्कोर नहीं बना पाए और सिर्फ दो रन बनाकर वापस पवेलियन लौट गए। कप्तान रोहित शर्मा भी सिर्फ 15 रन ही बना पाए, जबकि अनुभवी बल्लेबाज विराट कोहली ने 11 रन बनाए। विराट कोहली का कैच ग्लेन फिलिप्स ने हवा में कूद कर एक हाथ से शानदार तरीके से पकड़ा, जिसका वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर भी जमकर वायरल हो रहा है।
इसके अलावा रणजी ट्रॉफी 2024-25 का फाइनल मैच केरल और विदर्भ के बीच ड्रॉ पर समाप्त हुआ। इसी के साथ विदर्भ ने इस सत्र के फाइनल को जीत लिया है। विदर्भ की ओर से सभी खिलाड़ियों ने इस मैच में काफी अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया। हर्ष दुबे ने प्लेयर ऑफ द सीरीज का अवार्ड जीता, जबकि दानिश मालेवार ने प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच का अवार्ड अपने नाम किया।
आपको बता दें कि विदर्भ ने पिछले सात साल में तीसरी बार रणजी ट्रॉफी का खिताब अपने नाम किया है।
