Follow us on Google Newsभारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम को एक तरफ जहां इंग्लैंड दौरे पर करारी हार का सामना करना पड़ा, वहीं मेजबान टीम ने 15 सितंबर को 2-1 से तीन मैचों की टी-20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीरीज अपने नाम कर ली है। आपको बता दें, इंग्लैंड महिला क्रिकेट टीम ने इस T20I सीरीज का पहला मुकाबला नौ विकेट से जीतकर घरेलू सीरीज में अच्छी शुरुआत की, तो वहीं भारतीय टीम ने दूसरा मैच आठ विकेट से जीतकर सीरीज में दमदार वापसी की।
लेकिन मेहमान टीम तीसरे और अंतिम T20I मैच में बुरी तरह फ्लॉप रही। 15 सितंबर को ब्रिस्टल के काउंटी ग्राउंड में खेले गए इस निर्णायक T20I मैच में इंग्लैंड ने भारत को सात विकेट से मात देकर यह घरेलू T20I सीरीज जीत ली है, जिसका श्रेय सोफिया डंकले (49) और सोफी एक्लेस्टोन (3/25) को जाता है।

अगर मैच की बात करे तो इंग्लैंड ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी का फैसला किया और भारत के छक्के छुड़ा दिए, क्योंकि मेहमान टीम के शीर्ष पांच बलबाज 10 रनों के आंकड़े तक पहुंच भी नहीं पाए। जिसके बाद दीप्ति शर्मा (24), ऋचा घोष (33) और पूजा वस्त्राकर (19*) ने इंग्लैंड के तूफानी गेंदबाजी आक्रमण को झेलने की हिम्मत दिखाई।
लेकिन वे भी ज्यादा देर तक टिक नहीं पाए, नतीजन भारतीय महिला टीम 20 ओवरों में 122 रन बना पाई। सोफी एक्लेस्टोन और सारा ग्लेन ने इंग्लैंड के लिए क्रमशः तीन और दो विकेट लिए, जबकि ब्रायोनी स्मिथ, फ्रेया डेविस और इस्सी वोंग सभी को एक-एक सफलता मिली।
बल्ले के साथ विफल होने के बाद भारतीय टीम गेंद के साथ भी ज्यादा कमाल नहीं कर पाई, क्योंकि इंग्लैंड महिला टीम के शीर्ष तीन बल्लेबाजों सोफिया डंकले (49), डैनी व्याट (22) और एलिस कैप्सी (38) ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए अपनी टीम को 19वें ओवर में ही 123 रनों के लक्ष्य तक पहुंचा दिया। भारत के लिए राधा यादव, स्नेह राणा और पूजा वस्त्राकर ने एक-एक विकेट लिया। आपको बता दें, अब दोनों टीमों के बीच 18 सितंबर से तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज खेली जाएगी।
