Follow us on Google Newsवेस्टइंडीज में खेले जा रहे आईसीसी अंडर-19 वर्ल्ड कप के फाइनल मुकाबले में इंग्लैंड अंडर-19 और भारतीय अंडर-19 की टीम आमने-सामने थी। जिसमें टीम इंडिया के युवा खिलाड़ियों ने इस टूर्नामेंट में चले रहे अपने विजयी अभियान को अहम मुकाबले में भी जारी रखते हुए 4 विकेट से जीत हासिल की और खिताब को भी अपने नाम किया। भारतीय अंडर-19 टीम को फाइनल मुकाबले में जीत के लिए 190 रनों का लक्ष्य मिला था, जिसे उन्होंने 6 विकेट के नुकसान पर हासिल कर लिया।
रवि कुमार और राज बावा की धारदार गेंदबाजी के आगे बिखरे इंग्लिश बल्लेबाज
इंग्लैंड अंडर-19 टीम के कप्तान टॉम प्रिस्ट ने फाइनल मुकाबले में टॉस जीतने के बाद पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया। जिसके बाद पारी की शुरुआत करने उतरे जॉर्ज थॉमस और बेथहेल की जोड़ी टीम को बेहतर शुरुआत देने में नाकाम साबित हुई और टीम को पहला झटका 4 के स्कोर पर बेथहेल के रूप में लगा जो रवि कुमार की गेंद पर LBW आउट होकर पवेलियन लौट गए। वहीं इसके बाद बल्लेबाजी के लिए मैदान में उतरे इंग्लिश कप्तान टॉम भी कुछ खास नहीं कर सके और बिना खाता खोले ही रवि कुमार की गेंद पर बोल्ड हो गए।
18 के स्कोर पर 2 अहम विकेट गंवा चुकी इंग्लैंड की टीम पर साफतौर पर दबाव देखने को मिल रहा था। जिसके बाद 47 के स्कोर तक तो आधी टीम पवेलियन लौट गई। यहां से जेम्स रियू ने एक छोर को संभालते हुए रनों बनाने का सिलसिला जारी रखा जिसमें उन्हें जेम्स सील्स का साथ मिला। दोनों ने टीम के स्कोर को 184 रनों तक पहुंचाया जहां से मैच में लड़ा जा सके। जेम्स रियू 116 गेंदों में 95 रन बनाकर पवेलियन लौटे वहीं इंग्लैंड अंडर-19 टीम की पारी 44.5 ओवरों में 189 रन बनाकर सिमट गई। जिसमें भारतीय अंडर-19 टीम की तरफ से रवि कुमार ने 4 जबकि राज बावा ने 5 विकेट अपने नाम किया वहीं 1 विकेट कौशल तांबे के खाते में गया।

फाइनल मुकाबले में किसी भी टीम के लिए 190 रनों का लक्ष्य हमेशा मुश्किल माना जाता है। जिसमें भारतीय अंडर-19 टीम ने अपना पहला विकेट शून्य के स्कोर पर अंगकृष रघुवंशी के रूप में गंवा दिया था, जिससे सभी की धड़कने बढ़ना लाजिमी था। लेकिन यहां से हरनूर सिंह और शेख रशीद ने दूसरे विकेट के लिए 49 रनों की साझेदारी करते हुए टीम को मैच में बनाए रखने के साथ इंग्लैंड को वापसी का कोई मौका भी नहीं दिया।
हरनूर सिंह जहां 21 रन बनाकर पवेलिन लौटे वहीं शेख रशीद ने अपना अर्धशतक पूरा किया और 50 रनों की शानदार पारी खेल आउट हुए। लेकिन 95 पर तीसरा और 97 पर चौथा विकेट कप्तान यश ढुल का गंवा देने से भारतीय फैंस और टीम दोनों की धड़कने बढ़ गई थी। जिसके बाद निशांत सिंद्धु ने एक छोर संभालते हुए टीम को जीत की तरफ लेकर जाने का काम किया। जिसमें उन्हें पहले राज बावा का साथ मिला जिन्होंने 35 रनों की शानदार पारी खेली। वहीं इसके बाद विकेटकीपर बल्लेबाज दिनेश बाना ने छक्का लगाकर टीम को ऐतिहासिक जीत दिलाई।
