भारतीय टीम ने 29 जून को बारबाडोस में खेले गए टी-20 विश्व कप 2024 के फाइनल में साउथ अफ्रीका को हराकर खिताब अपने नाम कर लिया है। इस जीत के बाद विराट कोहली ने T20I से संन्यास का ऐलान कर दिया। इसके कुछ ही देर बाद कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने भी टी-20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय से संन्यास की घोषणा कर दी।

वहीं विराट कोहली और रोहित शर्मा के बाद अब स्टार ऑलराउंडर रवींद्र जडेजा (Ravindra Jadeja) ने टी-20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय से संन्यास लेने की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने 30 जून रविवार को अपने सोशल मीडिया हैंडल के जरिए इस बात की जानकारी दी। उनके इस फैसले तमाम फैन्स काफी हैरान है।

इस जीत के बाद भारतीय टीम के खिलाड़ी खुद के इमोशन्स को रोक नहीं पाए और वे रोते हुए नजर आए। कप्तान रोहित शर्मा, विराट कोहली, हार्दिक पांड्या समेत तमाम क्रिकेटर के आंखों से खुशी के आंसू निकल पड़े। वहीं मैच के बाद हार्दिक ने अपने पिछले छह महीनों के मुश्किल वक्त को याद किया।

इसके अलावा भारतीय कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने बारबाडोस में भारत का झंडा गाड़ा। दरअसल, टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप के शुरू होने से पहले बीसीसीआई सचिव जय शाह ने कहा था कि टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप में हम रोहित की कप्तानी में कैरेबियन धरती पर झंडा गाड़ेंगे। और फाइनल जीतने के बाद कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने ऐसा ही किया।

वहीं हेड कोच राहुल द्रविड़ ने इस ऐतिहासिक जीत को उत्साह के साथ सेलिब्रेट किया। भारतीय टीम द्वारा ट्रॉफी उठाए जाने पर द्रविड़ को जोर-जोर से चिल्लाते और कूदते हुए देखा गया। आज से पहले शायद ही किसी ने द्रविड़ का यह रुप देखा होगा। कोहली ने जैसे ही द्रविड़ को ट्रॉफी थमाई वह खुशी के मारे झूम उठे।
